Suit up and be a real-life hero for kids in foster care at HeroCon 2026!
HeroCon(May 9th from 10am-4pm) is a 1-day mini-comicon event held at Machens Toyota that benefits the children and families receiving services from KVC Missouri. KVC helps our community by educating 60 students that struggle with significant behavioral needs, helping 159 local children that are in foster care either reunite with their families or find a safe, permanent place to call home, and working with 200 children annually that desperately need residential treatment to begin healing from trauma. To help meet our community needs, we are organizing HeroCon and hoping to have hundreds of individuals and families coming to participate this year!
Leading up to HeroCon, we have HeroCon Quest, a virtual scavenger hunt with fun digital and real-world prizes! Players get started by downloading the Eventzee app to their phones, creating a profile, and entering code hcquest. From there, players will be presented with a list of challenges our sponsoring businesses provide to help them ‘Hero Up’ for kids in care! Players unlock badges and real-world prizes by completing challenges. For every 100 points they earn, they will also be entered in our raffle prize drawing featuring wonderful items donated by local businesses like a $250 Amazon Gift Card!
